BJJ Adult & Youth GradingDate: August 4, 2017



We are having a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu grading for our adult and youth students. 


Students must have a Caio Terra Patch on their gi in order to grade. 


7 pm start time.

TBA Classic - Muay Thai World Expo Date: June 25, 2017


Muay Thai Niagara took 3 athletes down to this very large annual event.

This is North America's largest Muay Thai tournament with 600 athletes competing in 4 rings over the course of 3 days.


Robyn Richard, William Siemens and Zander Armstrong all went down with Kru Roger Lumyoung to compete.



  • Robyn fought in the Ladies A class divsion. She had 7 women in her weight class. She drew last years champion in the quater finals. Unfortunately Robyn lost a close one and did not advance.
  • Zander fought in the Boys Class B division. He fought hard but lost his match in the semi-finals earning a bronze medal.
  • William fought in the finals in the Boys Class A division. He fought a very experienced opponent but unfortunately did not win He earned a silver medal.

Great job by all athletes for participating in this tournament.

CSC National Championships Date: May 27, 2017

 MTN sent 13 athletes to the CSC National Championships in Toronto and brought home 6 National Titles!


GOLD: Nathan Koop, Sophia Elia, Ethan Reader, Teshay Gouthro, Chris Hockey & Tai Sengsouriya/Nathan Vanderform

SILVER: Damin Vankraligen, William Siemens, Brianna Potter, Justin Philbrick, Allison Vanderform

BRONZE: Ethan Ali

Prestige K1 fights: Canada vs China Date: May 16, 2017


Marek won his fight against Chinese fighter Li Yankun!


This was Canada's largest kickboxing show! East vs. West. It was part of CSC's Prestige League.

Athletes have to apply to be part of this league. It was a great show put on at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga.


Teshay fought on the undercard against Canadian Aaron Wilson. He lost a close decision.
