Mini Muay Thai (Ages 5-6)

About the program

Our Mini Muay Thai program is a great way to introduce kids to Punches, Kicks and Knees in a fun environment. Kids will learn in a positive environment to listen to instruction, interact with others, improve co-ordination & balance and will have fun. This program will improve their ability to focus and they will gain self-confidence.

Little Ninjas (Ages 3-7)

About the program

If you live in Niagara and are looking for your child to learn Martial Arts, confidence, discipline and functional coordination, you want to sign them up for our amazing Little Ninjas Program. Our little Ninjas program focuses on teaching children the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu, Martial Arts and self-defence. This is done in a structured, fun way with expert children's instructors. The Little Ninjas practice the positions of Jiu-Jitsu in a stimulating and fun class.

The fastest growing Kids Thai-Kickboxing & Martial Arts program in Niagara is here at Muay Thai Niagara in St. Catharines. Our Kids Thai-Kickboxing program is the basis for striking where kids will learn how to properly punch, kick, elbow and knee opponents (We do not teach kids to throw elbow unless performed on a bag or in shadow-boxing). We teach this program for physical fitness, self-defense and of course, fun!

About the program

The fastest growing kids Jiu-Jitsu program in Niagara is at Muay Thai Niagara MMA. Students will learn Self-Defence, Confidence & Discipline. This program features the Jiu-Jitsu approach to defense in close quarters combat involving throwing techniques, ground control grappling, submissions & escapes. Students will learn & drill highly refined grappling techniques designed not only to control people in a self-defence scenario, but also against a well schooled adversary who knows Jiu-Jitsu.

Youth Jiu-Jitsu (Ages 12-15)

About the program

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art based on grappling and ground fighting, utilizing joint-locks and choke holds to defeat opponents. One of the main benefits of BJJ is that a smaller/weaker opponent can defend themselves against a stronger opponent if proper technique is followed. This class is an intense workout using a lot of core strength and is an excellent means of a self defense system.

As part of the community and the healthy development of children, we take bullying very seriously. Many of our students have confessed to being bullied at some point in their lives. At Muay Thai Niagara MMA, these Kids Programs ultimately help children learn how to effectively deal with bullies, which no longer causes them to fall victim. We do not endorse or instruct kids to generate any type of physical contact toward dealing with a bully, as words and reason are the best way to handle a particular situation. If your child is having problems with bullying, we can help!
